Talent Assessment
The objective of the “SAMIR Talent Assessment” is to identify the natural traits of the participants so that they can be exploited and further developed.
In aligning the right traits with the requirements of the job, not only training costs and turnover rates will be reduced, but people will excel in their jobs as they will be performing what they are naturally good at. This will eventually lead to job satisfaction, creativity and enhancement of performance, and productivity at the workplace.
THE TARGETED POPULATION
The assessment is originated in the Arabic language and is design to suite the Arabic culture in general and that of the Gulf in particular. It is intended for those with college education (at least Associate Degree holders), and are searching for employment in business organizations or need to identify their strengths and weaknesses for development purposes. The English version of the talent assessment is also available to be used for the non-Arabic applicants.
THE ASSESSMENT
The assessment covers fifteen (15) different traits. It consists of five (5) main personality profiles totaling (31) personalities.
The assessment consists of one hundred (100) questions. Each question has five multiple answers. The participant is to select only the one answer believed to represent his or her true feeling and perception. There are no true and false answers. The participant is given a period of half an hour to complete the entire assessment.
The assessment is divided into five parts as follows.
- 1 Traits and Personality Profiles
- 2 Personal and Career Preferences
- 3 Business Intelligence
- 4 Emotional Stability
- 5 Participant's Credibility
- The Personality Profile that the participant is most likely to fall under.
- The Score against each trait and the overall score (80% is the minimum score). Also, these scores are illustrated in a graphical format similar to what is illustrated in the "Report or Score Table".
- The scores of the Business Intelligence, the Emotional Intelligence, and the Participant Credibility (50% is the minimum score).
- 4-The participant's Work Style, Career Preference, Personal Interests, Personal Commitment, Work Preference and Organization Preference for employment.
THE REPORT
Once the participant completes his answers, the data is entered into an “Excel Program” and a report is produced. A copy of the report is given to the participant showing the following results:
1- The Personality Profile that the participant is most likely to fall under.
2- The Score against each trait and the overall score (80% is the minimum score). Also, these scores are illustrated in a graphical format similar to what is illustrated in the “Report or Score Table”.
